The Computer Technologies Program (CTP) — “The Bridge to a Career” — is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit vocational training program in Berkeley, California. Founded in 1974 in the birthplace of the disability rights movement, it describes itself as the world's first program of its kind, with over one million hours of services provided since 1974.

CTP provides training in information technologies, self-marketing strategies, and advocacy to improve employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Current Status (October 2026)

CTP is under unprecedented funding threat as the California Department of Rehabilitation has waitlisted all applicants. A board-led Emergency Board Initiative is pursuing new funding and client sources.
