Mission, Partners & Approvals

Mission Statement

“The Computer Technologies Program's mission is to improve employment opportunities for people with disabilities by providing training in information technologies, self-marketing strategies and advocacy in partnership with the business and workforce development communities.”

Approvals

CTP is approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) — all programs approved. BPPE disclosures are published at ctpberk.org/what-we-do/bppe.

CTP works closely with the California Department of Rehabilitation (dor.ca.gov) and is approved to work with all major vocational rehabilitation systems.

Industry & Business Partnerships

  • Business Advisory Council / industry partnerships — curriculum feedback, mentorship, mock interviews, and employment pipelines.
  • Recent corporate supporters: Delta Dental, United Business Bank (volunteering), Blue Shield of California.
  • Founding partners: IBM, the California State Department of Rehabilitation, and the Center for Independent Living.
